  • Country Managing Director (CMD)

    The Floor, a Fintech Innovation Center is expanding to Hong Kong and looking to hire a Country Managing Director to lead its regional front office in Asia.

    The successful candidate’s duties will include:

    • Scouting FinTech companies who have innovative solutions to offer international banks, evaluating the value proposition, identifying use cases & opportunities to collaborate through strategic engagement models with The Floor’s unique ecosystem
    • Managing interaction with visiting partners, delegations and member companies, understanding their needs and providing a landing pad in HK
    • Continuous scouting/analysis of local/regional Fintech space
    • Identifying business areas, which are being disrupted by Asian startups that are relevant for international banks to take into home countries
    • Developing an eco-system that connects Asian Fintech with Global Fintech/Financial industry players
    • Building a stellar local team to support all operations
    • Proposing business & investment opportunities for member companies

     

    Desired experience & skills: 

    • Previous banking/Fintech experience (+10 years)
    • A “good eye” for Fintech startups & exposure to exceptional entrepreneurs
    • Sound understanding of the Fintech space as a technology vertical
    • Understanding of the latest technology and business trends in the Fintech space
    • Knowledge of Mandarin/Cantonese – must
    • Fluent spoken and written English – must
    • Excellent familiarity with the HK Fintech ecosystem
    • Bringing a wide network of key Financial Services Players in HK and Asia
    • Strong leadership qualities, open approach and out of the box thinking
    • A creative person with an entrepreneurial state of mind
    • A people’s person, motivating others to lead from the front
    • A true collaborator who can work in a startup mentality with a global team with unusual pace and hours

  • Partner Relations Manager (PRM)

    The Floor is seeking to hire an experienced Partner Relations Manager (PRM). The ideal candidate will be a passionate professional with a strong interest in working closely with major international banks, corporate and tech startups. This role is a full-time position in Tel Aviv.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the ongoing partner relationships with senior stakeholders within The Floor’s ecosystem
    • Present and showcase The Floor to incoming local and international delegations
    • Represent The Floor in Fintech panels in Israel, including attending relevant fintech events
    • Manage the Fintech deal-flow by a pro-active, creative and resourceful approach
    • Oversee The Floor’s Partner Fintech Database & internal systems

    Requirements & Skills:

    • Maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and handling confidential information with the utmost discretion
    • At least 5 years of previous experience
    • High level written and spoken communication skills in English – Mother-tongue level (Other European languages- a major plus)
    • A strong knowledge/understanding of the banking industry/Financial technology
    • Significant previous experience working with major international corporates
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
    • Ability to work under pressure in a startup environment
    • Relevant advanced academic background

  • Executive Assistant (EA)

    The Floor is seeking to hire an experienced Executive Assistant (EA) to work with two of its co-founders. The ideal candidate will be an independent, multi tasker with an outgoing personality. This role is a full-time position in Tel Aviv.

    Responsibilities:

    • Managing the co-founders’ executive calendars and meeting agendas; scheduling meetings and making travel arrangements; preparing materials used in executive presentations/meetings
    • Acting as a gateway to the co-founders: screening and prioritizing mail and phone calls; and handling inquiries
    • Other relevant day-to-day tasks & projects

    Requirements & Skills:

    • Maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and handling confidential information with the utmost discretion
    • At least 5 years relevant experience
    • A BA degree
    • Written and spoken communication skills in English and Hebrew – mother-tongue level (additional languages a plus)
    • Highly organized and flexible with the ability to manage multiple projects with consistency, to meet deadlines and work as part of a team
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Operations Manager (OM)

    The Floor is seeking to hire an experienced Operations Manager (OM). The ideal candidate will be a hardworking, out of the box thinker/executor and all-around player. This role is a full-time position in Tel Aviv.

    Responsibilities:

    • Interface with The Floor’s members; first point of contact; dealing with requests and queries
    • Execution of daily operational tasks to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of The Floor, including supervision of the maintenance team
    • Plan, coordinate and oversee all aspects of ad-hoc and major events
    • Communicate and engage with various suppliers; maintain office supplies; place and expedite orders for supplies; verify receipt of supplies; research advantageous deals or suppliers
    • Supervise operation and maintenance of equipment, communication infrastructure and other systems
    • Other relevant day-to-day tasks & special projects

    Requirements & Skills:

    • Maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and handling confidential information with the utmost discretion
    • Project confidence and professional maturity
    • At least 5 years previous experience
    • Must have a BA degree
    • High level written and spoken communication skills, in Hebrew and English (additional languages a plus)
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Highly organized and flexible with the ability to manage multiple projects with consistency, to meet deadlines and work as part of a team

    The Floor is seeking to hire an experienced Personal Assistant (PA) to work with one of its co-founders. The ideal candidate will be an independent, multi tasker with an outgoing personality. This role is a full-time position in Tel Aviv.

    Responsibilities:

    • Managing the co-founder’s calendar and meeting agendas; scheduling meetings and making travel arrangements
    • Preparing materials for presentations/meetings
    • Attending meetings with the co-founder, drafting minutes/summaries and completing follow-up tasks
    • Acting as a gateway to the co-founder: screening and prioritizing mail and phone calls; taking messages; and handling inquiries
    • Supporting the Management of The Floor’s Investment Leads & Network
    • Maintaining and picking up business related correspondence with senior contacts, investors and new prospects
    • Drafting letters & emails to existing and potential senior stakeholders, partners and others
    • Other relevant day-to-day tasks & projects
